Chartwell has undertaken several assignments of a shorter nature to assist its clients in a specific initiative realted to business plans, equity financing, market analysis, product roll outs, sales CRM implementations and strategic and tactical account planning.
Some examples include:
* A 90 day consulting contract to recommend to the Board potential alternative strategic directions which a mobility applications development company could take. Recommended and then hired to implement a plan specializing in mobile application solutions and services in the travel, meetings and events space. Proposed and then implemented a mobile applications licensing plan (first in the world) to monetize these solutions and build services around those sales to increase revenue and service the customers. Raised the first $1M in equity financing (including my own investment) to finance the new direction. Led to unprecedented growth and the eventual sale of the company to an industry leader.
* A series of engagements to assist an automated J2EE software development solutions company in re-defining their target market and establishing their first customers. Assisted in raising $1M in equity capital funds for expansion and product development. Defined a new services category fo the company to specialize in which has led to their major focus area today.
* Consulting contract, introduced by IBM, to assist an online pharaceutical retail organization in establishing its first go-to-market strategies, its initial stragtegic partners and consultants, and online services programs.
* Analysis of a go to market strategy for an online collaboration solutions company which resulted in a complete change of target market focus, corporate positioning, channels to market (indirect vs. direct) that led to a 125% increase in revenues in the first year.
