We aim to connect with and assist startup, small and medium sized organizations in achieveing their goals as they launch new or improved solutions on the world stage. We like to think that we are specialists in seeing the bigger picture while not forgetting that the devil is in the details.
Principal

David J. Snell
Career focused entirely in high technology, entrepreneurial management and sales and marketing. Mr. Snell's initial career and technology grounding started with IBM and included systems engineering, sales, Product Management and IBM Advanced Sales School. He left IBM to start his first software company which he sold after 8 profitable years. Further assignments with Fortune 100 organizations included solutions selling and management, international sales and marketing team building, channel development, strategic and tactical planning and executive management. At his core however, Mr. Snell is a high tech entrepreneur who has had 7 exits - 5 profitable and 2 not so much - leading to his balanced and knowledge-based view of what incorporates a compelling technology, what does not, and how to identify and hone in on a target market to maximize shareholder and stakeholder worth.
Regarding more entrepreneurial endeavours, which has been his true passion, his progression and development of skills and experience has included: as Chairman and CEO, founded a high technology software vertical market solutions start-up following an early career with IBM, which he sold after 8 profitable years; investor and co-founder of a SaaS Portal for manufacturing distributors; helping a telephony-related software solutions company grow from zero software revenue to $50M on a trajectory to $100M (introduced "this call may be monitored for quality purposes" to the world); speaking at industry and association events; CEO, Chairman and Co-Founder of a mobile cybersecurity and authentication solutions company; as an investor and employee #5, then CSMO of an events mobile applications solutions company, he introduced the unique approach of licensing mobile apps for the events and meetings marketplace resulting in exponential growth - purchased by CVENT; and investing in and assisting other start-ups in situations from extraordinary expansion, to major re-engineering and rightsizing.
Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queens University and active in the high technology industry. A sought after expert speaker and session leader specializing in mobile technologies and social networking having been asked to present keynotes, education sessions and conduct workshops at many executive and corporate Conferences, and Industry Association meetings. A former Provincially ranked squash player (played in the Canadian Nationals), past BC Squash Top 10, currently a PickleBall fanatic, family skier and avid boater. Expertise in multimedia communications, social and consumer networking and is an amateur videographer.

Following presentation of my recommendations and the Board's approval, totally re-defined the target market, productized existing IP, and developed a new and "first in the market" licensing of mobile software event and conference applications direct to Enterprise (new and novel approach to monitizing mobile apps previously sold only in the Apple app store) and provided related services directly and through strategic partners to the events and conference marketplace. The new strategic direction and solutions resulted in first year revenue growth of 1600%, which contributed to annualized 5000% growth rate over 5 years. Continued this compound growth rate as the company was the #1 provider of mobile solutions to its chosen markets worldwide, 12th fastest growing company in BC and listed in the top 25 Ready To Rocket list. 200+ staff after 5 years, from $88k in and a team of 5 when Mr. Snell joined. Bought by CVENT in 2018.
